Got fast fibre, but only getting 1 Gigabit?
Fast fibre connections are increasingly available around Lake Zürich. But a 10 Gbit/s Internet connection doesn't automatically make your network 10 Gigabit. Your router, switches, cabling and computers all need to support the higher speed.
Is this your problem?
- Backing up or restoring a NAS takes forever over a normal gigabit connection
- Your NAS, workstation or server has a 10 Gigabit port, but transfers are still limited to around 1 Gbit/s
- You've invested in fast fibre internet but your internal network can't keep up with it
- You edit large video or photo files over the network and every export feels slow
Our solution
We build a 10 Gigabit backbone between your router, switches and network storage - ten times the throughput of a standard gigabit setup - so the wired core of your network is never the limiting factor, no matter how fast your internet connection or how many devices are active at once.
Why it matters around Lake Zürich
Fibre internet connections of 1 Gbit/s and faster are now common in this area. A 10 Gigabit internal network lets your home or business actually use that speed between devices, not just to the internet - for network storage, backups, media servers and multi-person households or offices working at the same time.
Enterprise switching, properly installed
We install and configure 10 Gigabit switches and SFP+ uplinks between your core network equipment and network storage, integrated with the rest of your wired access point installation rather than bolted on separately.
10 Gigabit where it makes sense
The backbone, NAS and high-performance workstations may use 10 Gigabit, while TVs, cameras, access points and ordinary devices can continue using 1 or 2.5 Gigabit connections.
